The Agilent N1918A Power Analysis Manager is a PC-based application software running on Microsoft Windows platform that is targeted to extend the capabilities of some of Agilent's power meters and sensors. The Power Analysis Manager is a suite of application software that comprises basic version that offers standard graphical user interface (GUI), and advanced version that is an optional licensed software for advanced pulse analysis, multi-channel power measurement, statistical analysis and recording function. Users can use this application software to track problems at any stage of their design process, from simulation to the final prototype. This application software is flexible and able to accept data from multiple front ends.
The Power Analysis Manager is compatible with various Agilent power measurement solutions such as:
• U2000 Series USB Power Sensors
• N1911A P-Series Single-Channel Power Meters
• N1912A P-Series Dual-Channel Power Meters
• N8262A P-Series Modular Power Meters
The P-Series power meters (N1911A single channel and N1912A dual channel) and P-Series wideband power sensors (N1921A, 50 MHz - 18 GHz, and N1922A, 50 MHz - 40 GHz) provide accurate and repeatable power measurements for R&D and manufacturing engineers, in markets including aerospace and defense (radar), wireless communications and wireless 802.11a/b/g networking. Measurements provided by this meter/sensor combination include peak power, average power, peak-to-average ratio, rise time, fall time, maximum power, minimum power and the statistical data of wideband signals (up to 30 MHz video bandwidth) with 100 M samples per second continuous sampling.
Backwards compatibility with all Agilent 8480 power sensors and E-Series power sensors gives users additional choices for conventional average power measurements, over a wide dynamic range and frequency coverage from 9 kHz to 110 GHz. * 30 MHz video bandwidth
* Single shot real time capture at 100 Msample/s per second
* Key Measurements: - peak, average, peak-to-average ratio, rise time, fall time and pulse width
* High Speed Complementary Cumulative Distribution Function (CCDF) statistical analysis
* Also compatible with the industry standard 8480 and E-series sensors which provide a wide dynamic range from -70 to +44 dBm, and a frequency coverage from 9 kHz to 110 GHz.
* New Predefine formats for WiMAX, DME, HSDPA
* Auto-Scale, Auto-Gate, and Duty cycle display for Pulse Measurement
*
* Versatile connectivity with USB, LAN and GPIB as standard
* Difference and ratio math functions (N1912A Dual Channel version)
* Color display with graphical user interface
* 2-Year calibration cycle
